Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 23 July 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of askfpl (the “Service”), available at askfpl.app. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by Filip Cajthaml, a sole trader (OSVČ) based in Prague, Czech Republic, business ID (IČO) 17128111 (“we”, “us”, “our”). You can reach us at help@askfpl.app.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. What the Service does
askfpl is an AI chat assistant for Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers. It lets you connect your FPL team and mini-leagues and ask questions about your squad, differentials, and chip strategy, with answers grounded in real FPL data. Features include a mini-league differential finder and a chip strategy advisor.
4. Not affiliated with the Premier League
askfpl is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the Premier League, Fantasy Premier League, or any football club. “Fantasy Premier League” and “Premier League” are trademarks of their respective owners. We use publicly available FPL data via the official FPL public API to provide the Service.
5. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know promptly at help@askfpl.app if you suspect unauthorised use. You may close your account at any time.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure;
- scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service or its data, or use it to build a competing product;
- circumvent usage limits, security, or access controls (for example, free-tier query caps);
- submit content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes others’ rights.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
7. AI answers — important disclaimer
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate answers grounded in FPL data. While we work hard to keep answers accurate and data-driven:
- answers are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only;
- answers may contain errors or be incomplete or out of date, and are not guaranteed to be accurate;
- the Service does not provide professional, financial, betting, or gambling advice, and nothing in it should be treated as such;
- any decisions you make about your FPL team (or anything else) based on the Service are your own responsibility.
8. Free tier, subscriptions, and trials
The Service offers a free tier with a limited number of AI queries per week. Premium features are available through a paid subscription:
- Pricing: as displayed on our pricing page at the time you subscribe (for example, a monthly or annual plan).
- Free trial: we may offer a free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will start automatically and your payment method will be charged.
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, until you cancel.
- Cancellation: you can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. We do not charge cancellation fees.
- Payments: payments are processed securely by Stripe. You authorise us and Stripe to charge your chosen payment method.
- Price changes: we may change prices, but we will give you reasonable advance notice, and changes will not affect the period you have already paid for.
9. Right of withdrawal and refunds
As a consumer in the EU, you generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. We honour this right for paid subscriptions:
- If you subscribe and change your mind, you may request a refund within 14 days of the start of your paid subscription by emailing help@askfpl.app.
- We will refund your most recent subscription payment for that period.
- Free-trial periods are not charged, so no refund applies to them.
This is in addition to any mandatory rights you have under Czech and EU consumer law, which are not affected by these Terms.
10. Availability and changes to the Service
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we provide it “as is” and cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service depends on third-party data (including the FPL public API), which may change or become unavailable. We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time. If we discontinue a paid feature you have prepaid for, we will provide a fair, pro-rated refund.
11. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding third-party FPL data and your own content), belongs to us. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as your questions), and you grant us the licence needed to operate the Service and provide answers to you.
12. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your mandatory consumer rights.
Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your reliance on AI answers or FPL data, decisions about your FPL team, or service interruptions. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably need to (for example, for legal or security reasons). On termination, your right to use the Service ends, but sections that by their nature should survive (such as disclaimers and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Czech courts. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules of the country where you live. You may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
